In my monthly perusal of my Runner's World magazine I made the delightful discovery that in addition to being an amazing children's book author and illustrator, Jan Brett is also a runner! She runs the Boston marathon each year. It makes me respect the author of my favorite children's classic The Mitten even more. Read the article here.
